Welcome to NBCC


The Vigilance Awareness week was observed at Head Office and various other offices of NBCC from 30.10.2017 to 04.11.2017 with great enthusiasm. To mark this occasion, a number of public outreach programmes were organized to increase the awareness level among all the officials of NBCC, student community and other stake holders.

The Vigilance Awareness Week commenced with central administration of pledge to all the CVOs and senior officials of the Ministry/PSUs/other organizations by Shri K.V.Chowdhary, Central Vigilance Commissioner at Vigyan Bhawan on 30/10/2017 at 11:00AM. CMD, Directors, CVO and other senior officers of NBCC also attended. At NBCC Corporate Office, all the officials were administered the pledge by Director (Finance), Sr. ED & CGM (HRM) at 11.00 am on 30/10/2017. Similar pledge ceremonies were organized in all offices of NBCC across India.

During the week, a number of other activities namely, Lectures/Seminars/Debates/Essay Competition etc. were organized at Head Office, based on this yearÂ’s theme conceptualised by CVC - "My Vision - Corruption Free India".

Shri K.V.Chowdhary, Central Vigilance Commissioner (CVC), Government of India, interacted with senior officials of the organization and delivered a speech on 31st October, 2017 at the Corporate Office of NBCC. He emphasized the importance of personal probity and integrity in ensuring vigilance. It was a very useful session for the officials. On the occasion, Vigilance Bulletin-2017 and posters on Vigilance Awareness were also released by the CVC in honoured presence of Dr. Anoop Kumar Mittal, CMD; Shri Sanjiv Swarup, CVO and other senior officials of the organization.

The following programmes were organised during the week:-

  • Debate competitions on the above theme were organised in following Schools/Colleges.

    --N.P.Model School, Kidwai Nagar, New Delhi.
    --Jagannath Institute of Management Studies (JIMS), Kalkaji, New Delhi.
    --Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurugram, Haryana.
    --Sarvodaya Kanya Sr. Secondary School, Pandara Road, New Delhi.
    --Visvesaraya National Institute of Technology, Nagpur (Maharashtra).
  • Essay writing and Debate Competitions were organised at the Corporate Office on 01.11.2017, which saw wholehearted participation.
  • A talk on "Stress Management and Ethics in Day-to-Day Life" was delivered on 02.11.2017 by the renowned personality Sh. Rajesh Aggarwal, Motivational Speaker, which was appreciated by the audience at large.
  • On 02.11.2017, a lecture was also delivered on Preventive Vigilance by Shri Surjit Singh, Ex.-Director, Central Vigilance Commission at East Kidwai Nagar Project, New Delhi. It was again a very informative and interactive session, and was attended by all the officials of East Kidwai Nagar & New Moti Bagh offices.
  • A link of Integrity Pledges, one for Citizens and other for Organization, was provided on the NBCC's Website, www.nbccindia.com, which was directly linked with the CVC website for enabling all the employees to take the pledge. These links were also provided on the social media pages, Facebook and Twitter. Great numbers of NBCC employees took e-pledge using this link.
  • The week-long observance of 'Vigilance Awareness Week 2017' concluded with a ceremony held on 04/11/2017 at NBCC Bhawan, New Delhi, wherein the Chief Guest was Dr. Anoop Kumar Mittal, CMD, NBCC. Prizes were distributed to the winners of the Debate & Essay Competitions organized during the week. The Ceremony ended with a Vote of Thanks by Shri. Sanjiv Swarup, Chief Vigilance Officer, NBCC.
