TRAINING & LEARNING


The Corporation believes in achieving organizational excellence through training of Human Resource to fulfill the organizational goal. The Corporation has set up a well defined system for identifying the training needs of all employees at various level to enhance their skills and knowledge. The purpose of training is to update of departmental official / staff with the necessary skills, knowledge latest technology and attitudes to meet the organization’s needs in relation to its objectives and fast changes in the global market. Training is seen as a necessary investment in order to provide the excellent services Corporation demands. To expand and widen the technical & behavioral attributes of employees at the Operative levels, In-house training programs are organized collaboration with various external training agencies as well departmental faculties. These program also enable us to achieve our MoU targets.

TRAINING PROGRAM CONDUCTED AND OFFICIALS NOMINATED DURING THE FY 2015-16

NBCC CONDUCTS IN-HOUSE ORIENTATION TRAINING PROGRAMME FOR NEW RECRUITS

NBCC Training & Development Division Conducted In-house three weeks Residential Orientation Training Programme from 28.12.2015 to 16.01.2016 for new inductees recruited during 2014 and upto September 2015. The programme was held in New Delhi and the participants included categories such as Management Trainees, Junior Engineers/PEs / SPEs & DPMs.

During this Program, participants were made aware of NBCC’s Vision, Mission and also made cognizant how NBCC works in three segments viz. (i) Project Management Consultancy (PMC), Real Estate Development & (iii) EPC Contracting.

The programme also had outside faculties who covered the following:-

  • Half-day Program on Green Building/GRIHA Rating was arranged through TERI, which is a specialized agency.
  • Three-day Program through National Council for Cement & Building Material, Ballabhgarh.
  • Participants were taken for site visit to East Kidwai Nagar Project to experience the practical working at site.
NBCC CONDUCTS IN-HOUSE PROGRAMME

NBCC conducted Two-Day In-house Program on Vigilance Rules & Regulations and was held on 11th & 12th February 2016 at EDC, Ghitorni, New Delhi. Inaugurated by by Shri Sanjiv Swarup, Chief Vigilance Officer, NBCC, the training programme was conducted by hiring outside faculties, who comprised S/Shri M P Singh and Ashok Kumar Malhotra, Former DIGs of CBI.

TRAINING PROGRAM CONDUCTED AND OFFICIALS NOMINATED DURING THE FY 2014-15

RESIDENTIAL IN-HOUSE ORIENTATION PROGRAM FOR JE TO DPM LEVEL ENGINEERS

A series of Residential In-house training programs were conducted through in-house faculty as well as outside agency at Delhi for the JE to DPM Level Engineers who have joined NBCC during the last 10 years on PAN India basis. The trainees were given awareness about the various Works Manuals, constructed related issues, Green Building Concept and GRIHA Rating, HR Policies, ERP, Welfare schemes, etc. of NBCC.

IN-HOUSE TRAINING PROGRAM WERE ORGANIZED FOR GROUP A & B OFFICIALS ON PAN INDIA BASIS.

A series of Residential In-house training programs were conducted through in-house faculty as well as outside agency at Delhi for the JE to DPM Level Engineers who have joined NBCC during the last 10 years on PAN India basis. The trainees were given awareness about the various Works Manuals, constructed related issues, Green Building Concept and GRIHA Rating, HR Policies, ERP, Welfare schemes, etc. of NBCC.
In-house training program for Finance officials were also conducted for their updation. Also officials were nominated and provided training at outstations organized by external agencies for different current topics.

TRAINING PROGRAM FOR NON-EXECUTIVE EMPLOYEES

A series of Multi/up-skilling training programs were conducted through department faculties at different locations on PAN India basis for Non-executive Employees.

TRAINING PROGRAM ON PREVENTION OF SEXUAL HARASSMENT TO THE WOMEN AT WORKPLACE

A series of training programs on Prevention of Sexual Harassment to the Women at workplace for sensitizing the employees with the provisions of the Act, “the Sexual Harassment of women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013” were organized by NBCC at various places.
