As per the Companies Act, 2013 every PSU should formulate their own CSR Policy in accordance with the Act.

Accordingly, NBCC formulated its CSR Policy and get it approved by the Board Level CSR Committee. As per CSR Policy, Baseline Survey / Need Assessment / Proposal Evaluation is mandatory before carrying out the Activity.

Each & Every proposal received in the CSR Division is routed through the concerned RBG / SBG / Zonal Incharges. The proposal, before implementation is put up to the Board Level CSR Committee for approval and after getting approved a Baseline Survey / Need Assessment / Proposal Evaluation is carried out through a third party. The Board Level CSR Committee is then apprised of the Study conducted and after getting clearance, the Activity is implemented.

For implementation of the Activity, a Specialised Agency is selected through normal procedure like by calling of Tenders or any other Agency including NBCC Services Limited, a Subsidiary company of NBCC after approval from the CSR Board.

After approval from CSR Board, the concerned RBG / SBG / Z.O. / Approved Agency is held fully responsible for calling of tender, timely completion, Quality of work and other legalities as per N.I.T. / MOU.

A Mid-term Evaluation is also conducted through a third party to assess the progress of the work.

After completion of the Activity, Impact Assessment is carried out to evaluate the Impact of the Activity on the society.
